Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Harrisburg, PA. This role will involve working with a diverse caseload of K-5 students, ranging from mild to severe needs. The SLP will float between classrooms, providing services to students, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to K-5 students with varying levels of need (mild to severe).
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to support students across different settings.
- Work with students with ASD and facilitate the use of AAC devices for communication.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Caseload:
- K-5
- Mild to severe
- Floating between classrooms
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Pennsylvania SLP license (or ability to obtain).
- Experience working with ASD students and AAC devices preferred.
